Revlon sultryHello lippy lovers!
The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms joined the beauty world earlier this year alongside the new lacquer balms and the already much cherished balm stains, and you can tell I was quite excited given that Revlon (in my opinion) makes the best twist up lip crayons on the market (yes even more than Clinique!)

Swatching the colours at Priceline I found most of the shades were too chalky in its undertones to look good against my skin but I did end up picking two, one of which is Sultry.
Revlon Matte BalmsSultry is a rather amazing unassuming colour, being that sort of browny red and being both neutral and strong at the same time. it’s colour without being too loud which makes it perfect for the office. The formula is also incredible, one layer is enough for opaque coverage. It doesn’t feel heavy or thick and while not particularly moisturising, it’s still comfortable enough to wear through the day. As the name says, it gives a matte finish that is quite sophisticated, and with this shade also quite grown up. There is also a slight peppermint taste and it tingles on the lips when I initially put it on. The crayon shape makes it extremely easy to put on with no feathering outside the lip line.
Revlon sultry 2This balm which is more like a lipstick retails for about AUD$21 but I picked it up for $16 (Priceline saaaaaale)
