Look what’s just been launched across Asia: SK-II’s first range for men, aptly named SK-II MEN.
Released in Singapore just a few days ago, SK-II MEN Facial Treatment Essence (SGD 99.00 for 75ml and SGD 183.00 for 150ml), SK-II MEN Moisturizing Cleanser (SGD 89.00) and SK-II MEN Age Revitalize Moisturizer (SGD 149.00 for 50ml) are now available in Singapore exclusively at Isetan counters. The entire line-up will be available at selected SK-II counters in leading retailers from 1 August 2012 onwards.
The range claims to address a multitude of problems that SK-II says are particular to male skin, namely higher sebum secretion levels, lower skin hydration, and duller skin tone caused by coarse facial hair and environmental pollutants, and rougher facial skin texture resultant of shaving. The range also aims to address five critical dimensions that affect the vibrancy and clarity of male skin – texture, radiance, spot control, wrinkle resilience and firmness.
We at belle are not completely sure of the differences in formulation of this range as compared to SK-II’s regular range, which is targeted at women. However, if and when we find out, we’ll update this post accordingly and let all of you know via Facebook.
Now, as most of you already know, SK-II takes great pride in its ambassadors, such as Cate “I have unbelievable skin” Blanchett. Will their ambassador for the men’s range live up to lofty expectations? We’ll leave that to you to judge.
Check out their chiseled choice of SK-II MEN ambassador, Taiwanese-Canadian actor and former Louis Vuitton model Godfrey Gao. Heck, if you like what you see and want more of the guy, you can even stalk him on Twitter.
Ladies – a penny for your thoughts? And I don’t just mean on Godfrey, but on the SK-II MEN range more generally 😉
