Happy Friday, ladies!

Today, I will add to the chorus of praise (hullo Kahani and Plue!) for this lovely, lovely product: Johnson and Johnson’s Top-to-Toe Baby Wash 🙂 (Note: It is known as Head-to-Toe Baby Wash/Head-to-Toe Bath in some countries, but the formulation is exactly the same and the packaging is universally the same faint yellow in colour.)

What is so special about this baby wash that has made it a favourite amongst grown-ups like ourselves?

It smells amazing. Soft, light, fresh, delicious and happy are the five words I would use. A sniff of this stuff brings a big hearty smile to my face every single time without fail.

It is light and cleanses without stripping skin of moistureThis clear liquid, which pumps out the consistency and clarity of water, doesn’t lather up dramatically. What it does is it suds up gently and does a great job dislodging dirt, grime and sweat from skin without drying it out or feeling even remotely abrasive. My skin loves this stuff, and I’ve seen a definite improvement in the softness and smoothness of my skin since I started using this product as a twice-daily shower gel.

It is versatileBy that, I mean it is so mild yet effective that it can be used as a facial cleanser (gets rid of makeup really effectively, even eyeliner – shock horror!), shampoo (performs similarly to Johnson’s Baby Soft and Shiny Shampoo), body wash, shaving gel/base, a makeup brush cleaner (without drying out the bristles!), and delicate laundry handwashing soap. And it leaves everything delightfully clean and smelling wonderful.

At a very wallet-friendly SGD 8.70 per 500ml pump bottle (sometimes a couple of dollars off if you grab one during sale period), this product is a true keeper for years to come. There’s no doubt that I will repurchase this one over and over. This is more than a bottle of childhood nostalgia, it’s a bottle of cleansing awesomeness. Truly 🙂

PS: Here’s the ingredient list off the back of the bottle –

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Chloride, Polyquaternium-10, Fragrance, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide

  1. i was converted by Kahani and now you too! it is currently now my handwash too! And because it isn’t drying, I don’t need to worry of my hands feeling dry and scaly and go looking around for a hand lotion/ cream 😛

    • Heya Plue! Gosh, too many uses! 🙂 I have specific handwashes at home so I reserve this for shower use only, heh heh 🙂
