I’ve subscribed to Bellabox Singapore since it began in October this year. I’ve waited a while to write a review because I understand that when you run a start-up venture, the beta edition of your product or service can be tricky to perfect, at best.

For those of you unfamiliar with the concept,

Bellabox delivers the latest deluxe beauty products to your door, brand new and exclusive for you at SGD 15.00 a month. We handpick and deliver five of the most luxurious beauty products to hit the market. Discover new products you will love, and make new purchases with confidence.

Like many others (from what I’ve read), I was not that impressed with the contents of the first Bellabox but was willing to wait it out and see what the next month or two had in store before making a judgement – and I am very glad I did.

Just a quick written rundown: the first box contained 50ml bottles of Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner each, miniature vial of Oscar de la Renta Esprit d’Oscar eau de parfum, a 30ml bottle of OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers, and three ultra-soft hair-ties called Twistbands. I enjoyed all these products but was hopeful that the next box would be a little more… exciting.

The second box, meanwhile, contained a tiny tube of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) Lip Tar in Pageant (a very bright blue-pink shade), a 1.8ml sample vial of Duchess Marden Damascena Anti-Wrinkle Serum, a 9ml sachet of Korres Guava Body Butter, two Skin Factory Eye Dream Honey Patches, and 75ml bottles of Davines Melu Mellow Anti-Breakage Lustrous Shampoo and Conditioner respectively. Of all these, I enjoyed the shampoo and conditioner the most. At this stage, my confidence in Bellabox Singapore was growing steadily.

I received the December Bellabox just a few moments ago and am so happy with its contents that I’m preliminarily blogging about it 🙂 Here’s what my box contains:

Also, a sweet touch to the box – the good folks at Bellabox Singapore included a small pack of strawberry-flavoured jellybeans in this month’s box as a little bonus. How thoughtful of them 🙂 There’s nothing like the personal touch to add charm to any product or service!

Are any of you readers out there fellow Bellabox Singapore subscribers? What are your thoughts on this month’s Bellabox offering? And to those of you who subscribe to similar services in other countries, how do you reckon Bellabox Singapore’s offerings  compare to what you’ve received so far? Leave us a note and let us know!

    • Hi Syen! Yeah I don’t think so, Savoir Faire is a small but expanding company based in Australia. Their price tag is mighty hefty, but the packaging and quality of the lipstick is quite divine. 🙂

  1. I thought this box was a huge leap for the bellabox team. The colours i got differ from yours and I got “carrie” for the eyelashes! But overall, I’m having fun each month!!! Can’t wait to read your review!! 🙂

    • Nice! Thanks for letting us know, Marilyn 🙂 I’m thrilled that the Bellabox Singapore team are being so pedantic with fulfilling customers’ specific needs and wants. This can only improve over time, and I reckon if we continue to give them feedback on how they’re doing, improvements will be far more visible.
