Hullo everyone 🙂

Being beautiful outside is important to all of us, and that’s why we keep searching for the best products and services the beauty industry has to offer us. However, what makes us truly beautiful is who we are inside – whether it’s the love, care, energy and time we share with our family, friends, and those who are less fortunate that we all are.

When Clarins contacted us to inform us of the Clarins We Care Charity Program, we thought it was a great idea and worth sharing. The Clarins We Care Charity program is an annual fund-raising affair to provide educational tools to children’s homes. Clarins says,

Each year, Clarins We Care aims to promote and provide impoverished children a better upbringing in which they can attain their full potential to lead a meaningful life in the future. We believe this is through education. Every year, Clarins raise funds though We Care Charity campaign by providing educational tools to the homes in need.

Not only is Clarins committed to improving the lives of these children from an educational standpoint; the company is also committed to green values and enabling children everywhere to develop a sense of respect and caring for the natural environment. This year, the theme that Clarins We Care Charity selected is “Friends of the earth”. Clarins has created a pencil pouch made from recycled materials and imprinted with animal motifs to encourage children on the importance of recycling and saving the environment.

So this year, you can do your part and support this cause by purchasing the pencil pouch at only RM15.00 at Clarins counters nationwide, from 1st November to 31st December. Proceeds from these pencil pouch sales will go towards purchasing educational tools such as computers and reference books for children’s homes to enhance these children’s education.

This year, the proceeds will help fund the following homes:

  • Rumah K.I.D.S (Klang) – A home where orphans and children who are abandoned, abused and neglected are given shelter, love and care.
  • Sanctuary Care Centre (Setapak) – A shelter which solely depends on public donation and revenues from recycling items.
  • Rumah Shalom (Puchong) – A foster home for boys and girls, who depend on public donation.
