No surprises as to what I’d like my perfect beauty box to look like! But what would I really like nestled within?
Thanks to ksuan, dom and Beetrice, I went on a Lush haul. I admit, in the 6 years I have been in Australia I have never ever stepped foot into a Lush store, so evidently we remedied this in Singapore!

Hello from Kuala Lumpur! I’m here until late tomorrow night to attend a security conference (read: superconvention of high-level politics nerds and geeks) and to rapporteur at a series of policymakers’ meetings all day tomorrow.
Just a speedy post to give SdV and Syen bragging rights: I have been converted to a colour that they both love but I have always steered clear of - peach.
It all started with SdV’s lovely gifted MAC Sheertone Blush in Peaches, depicted in the centre of the photo above. Now, my peachy keen collection is expanding.

Because ridiculously bright toenails are good fun.
I picked up this cool tangerine shade, named ‘I Like Pina Coladas’, from Rubi Shoes. It only cost me SGD 2.95 for a 15ml bottle. Quality’s nowhere near that of China Glaze or OPI, but at this rock-bottom price and for such an atrociously happy (borderline hipster) colour, I am perfectly happy and willing to touch up however often is needed

Brows. The bane of my life. They’re thick, dark, straight and unruly and completely unfeminine. I can’t keep them in check by myself due to bad eyesight and sheer laziness.
I first had my brows done at Clarins Suria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur and though it was utterly professional I felt the end result a little too harsh. Subsequently I also went to a private salon attached to my hairdresser where the specialist employed the ‘threading’ technique. Can I just say OW?
Since then, I’ve left them unchecked but after reading so many beauty blogs and looking at beauty tutorials I’ve gained brow envy. That’s right. All those delicately arched, perfectly shaped feminine brows, I must have them!
I’ve walked past Benefit’s Brow Bar multiple times but have never paid much attention. After reading a few reviews I thought I’d give them a chance.
